Welcome to our first Newsletter! Thank you very much for subscribing and taking the time to read this with us. We’re going to simply update you on what’s going on at PRN HQ as well as ask for your feedback and comments. We have hit some great milestones over the past season, including new shows and fantastic friends!
We’ve brought on-board the hilarious new comedy show Babies in Handcuffs, starring Ren, Andrew, Drew & Jordan. The four of them get together each week and lay down some skits, some conversations and lots of general hilarity. They’re only 5 episodes in and already have been featured in iTunes New & Noteworthy section! And that’s totally thanks to our incredible listeners leaving reviews and ratings on iTunes. Thank you!
Next up is Full Frame, which is our little-show-that-could! Full Frame has grown to be PRN’s flagship show and is hosted by some of our best talent. Chris, Nile, Mark & Ren tackle the week’s photography news, events and tips. They focus on the Canadian photography community and highlight a favourite photographer each week. If you have a favourite photog you’d like us to highlight, send it to nile@perpetualradio.com.
What the Cell & Mac Dose are our longest running shows and continue to bring you the latest and greatest cellular and Apple news every Sunday & Monday evening.
We’ve partnered with some amazing companies lately too! We had a HUGE Lowepro giveaway last month; Congratulations to Josie Chung who won over $250 in Lowepro camera gear. Henry’s held it’s bi-annual PVDI event in Mississauga again this month and PRN was of course there, interviewing some of the hottest brands in photography and getting hands-on time with all of the newest gear. Listen to Full Frame in the coming weeks for that coverage.
What The Cell has been continuing to grow as well. We invited Crystal on to do occasional reviews of new devices as well as highlight a weekly listener review from iTunes. We also had Daniel from mobilesyrup.com on and he will be a reoccurring guest as well!
Enough of the boring PRN news, let’s hear from you! We want to know how we’re doing. Are you enjoying our shows, would you change anything, add or remove anything? We also want to hear from you if you’d like to start your own podcast! We are always looking to grow and add more programming to our network. Contact me at alex@perpetualradio.com if any feedback you’ve got and I promise I will get back to you.
Thank you so much for your support, as PRN nears it’s 2 year anniversary, you listeners are our heros!
